Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes. You will be provided with a donation receipt to claim in your taxes. For more information, please email H.E.L.P. 2013's Donations Manager, Janie Tess Soriano at janietess.soriano@csueastbay.edu.

How will donations be collected?

There will be a designated area in the University Theatre Lobby where both monetary and supply donations will be collected.

Each green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items. Soulciety (www.soulciety.org) is a non-profit organization based in the Bay Area that has been coordinating outreach programs in the Philippines for many years. Soulciety has partnered with National Alliance for Filipino Concerns (www.nafconusa.org), a grassroots community organization that has already raised $50,000 towards helping with these natural disasters, who will be helping to get the funds directly to the areas that need the most support.

Where is the theatre located?

The theatre is located at 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd., Hayward, CA 94542.

What time is the Benefit Show?

Finger food and refreshments will be held in the University Theatre Lobby at 2:00 P.M.

 

Weather-permitting, refreshments will be extended outside the University Theatre Lobby area to the Robinson Hall Courtyard.

 

The Benefit Show will begin promptly at 3:00 P.M. 

 

There will be a Candlelight Vigil following the Benefit Show at 4:30 P.M.

How early can I be seated for the Benefit Show?

Doors open at 2:30 P.M., thirty (30) minutes before curtain opens.

How long is the Benefit Show?

The benefit show will last approximately ninety (90) minutes.

Do I have to purchase a ticket?

Admission to the Benefit Show is free. Seating is first-come, first-serve.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No. Free parking on Sunday, December 8, 2013.

Where can I park?

Parking nearest the University Theatre is located in Lot K.
